To subscribe to OneDesk, you will need to pick your products, plan level, and purchase user licenses based on the number of users that will be using OneDesk.
Users or ‘agents’ are those working in your company who need to use the main OneDesk app. Users are typically the ones assigned to work and respond to customers or end-users.
Customers or end-users can submit tickets using email and can make use of the customer apps like the portal or knowledge base. Customers are unlimited and free.
OneDesk offers different products depending on what you want to manage. You can add more products to your account as you need.
Help Desk provides you options for customer or end-user self-service and enables you to manage your support and ticketing needs.
Project Management helps fuel team collaboration and efficiently manage your projects and tasks.
Professional Services adds client quoting, invoicing, and financial management to your workflow. This product requires either the Help Desk or Project Management products.
Finally, Work Management manages the full lifecycle of client projects from the initial quote to project delivery and ongoing support. Work management bundles all the products into one seamless tool.
In addition to products, there are three plan levels to choose from: Standard, Enterprise and HIPAA. Enterprise enables you to use Voice and AI as well as some advanced features like SSO and integrations. The HIPAA plan is for health-related companies. It includes enterprise features but also includes the BAA to help you stay compliant. Consider the features you need when deciding on your plan level. It is easy to scale up and upgrade your plan anytime.
To get started, we recommend signing up for a free trial. It’s easy and all you need is an email address.
Sign up for a free 2-week trial directly from our website at www.OneDesk.com giving you plenty of time to get to know the application before committing to a subscription.
Click the sign up free button or sign up with your Microsoft or Google account instead.
Next, fill out the information in the Account Activation form here, click Submit, and you’re done.
In most cases, you will upgrade to a paid subscription from inside your OneDesk account. You should subscribe before your free trial expires so that you will not have to re-activate any users you have already added.
To upgrade, click on the Administration icon, and select Subscription.
Decide how many user licenses you need, the billing period, and the currency to pay in. As you select and change these variables, the totals will adjust to reflect those changes.
Again, OneDesk’s user licenses are based on the number of users that will be accessing OneDesk from your company. Users are the members of your team who need to be able to log onto the main application. Ensure that, at the time of payment, your user licenses cover the maximum number of internal users. User licenses can be added in the future to your plan if required, so don’t worry too much about planning ahead for what additional licenses you may need. If a new user license is added, you will be billed for that user immediately, prorated until the end of your billing cycle.
Choosing an annual billing period will provide you with a discount on the per-user price you pay. You can also select the currency you wish to be billed in.
Once you’re finished with your selections, click Purchase. You can also pay by Purchase Order in the next tab at the top. If you want to use a different payment method you can also reach out to hello@onedesk.com.
