To subscribe to OneDesk, you will need to pick a plan level and purchase user licenses based on the number of users that will be using OneDesk. Users or ‘agents’ are those working in your company who need to use the main OneDesk app. Users are typically the ones assigned to tickets, responding to customers, clients, or end-users.
Customers or end-users can submit tickets using email or webforms and can make use of the customer apps like the portal or knowledge base. Customers are unlimited and free.
There are three plan levels Standard, Premium, and Enterprise. All three plans include the standard help desk and project management features such as email integration, time tracking, automations, and customer apps. Some advanced features like SSO and integrations are available on higher plans. Consider the features you need when deciding on your plan level. It is easy to scale up and upgrade your plan anytime.
To get started, we recommend signing up for a free trial. It’s easy and all you need is an email address.
Sign up for a free 2-week trial directly from our website at www.OneDesk.com giving you plenty of time to get to know the application before committing to a subscription.
Click the sign up free button or sign up with your Microsoft, Google, or LinkedIn account instead. Click the Sign up free! button if you entered an email.
Next, fill out the information in the Account Activation form here, click Submit, and you’re done.
In most cases, you will upgrade to a paid subscription from inside your OneDesk account. You should subscribe before your free trial expires so that you will not have to re-activate any users you have already added.
To upgrade, click on the More Applications icon, then the Administration icon, and select Subscription.
Decide how many user licenses you need, the billing period, and the currency to pay in. As you select and change these variables, the totals will adjust to reflect those changes.
Again, OneDesk’s user licenses are based on the number of users that will be accessing OneDesk from your company. Users are the members of your team who need to be able to log onto the main application. Ensure that, at the time of payment, your user licenses cover the maximum number of internal users.
User licenses can be added in the future to your plan if required, so don’t worry too much about planning ahead for what additional licenses you may need. If a new user license is added, you will be billed for that user immediately, prorated until the end of your billing cycle.
Choosing an annual billing period will provide you with a discount on the per-user price you pay. You can also select the currency you wish to be billed in.
You can read about what is included in each plan. These standard features are available in all plans. And once again some advanced features are available only in higher plans.
Once you’re finished with your selections, click Subscribe in the desired plan level. . If you want to use a different payment method than credit card you can also reach out to hello@onedesk.com.
