This morning one of our key databases experienced stability issues preventing authentication & login on the OneDesk system. We managed to stabilize it temporarily, allowing authentication to resume for a couple of hours, but in the end it was determined that fully rebuilding and replacing this database instance would be required in order to maintain stability over the long term. This has been done and stability appears to be back to normal.
We apologize for the inconvenience. No data was lost or at risk, since we perform continuous (and snapshot) backups.
We continue to investigate the root cause of this instability. In addition we are investigating how we can replace unstable database instances more quickly if something like this were to occur in the future.
